Weekly Update – May 19, 2020

The Superhero Fiction Virtual Convention is underway!

This event runs all week and will feature one panel discussion every night at 6 PM (EST) this Friday, May 21. Go to https://superhero-fiction.com/sfvc/ for the full schedule and details on how to watch and participate live on Facebook, but make sure you’re there tonight, because I’ll be participating in the “Creating the Powers Behind the Supers” panel from 6 to 8 PM!

Next up, it’s new release time! Almost!

I received my editor’s notes on The Adventures of Strongarm & Lightfoot – Sworded Affairs over the weekend and I’ll be working on the final draft and formatting this week. If things go smoothly, the Kindle edition will be ready to go by this time next week, and the print edition will be out by the end of the month or early June.

WRITING PROJECTS

Action Figures – Secret Origins: Audiobook recording continues with narrator Jennifer McPherson. Tentatively set for late spring/early summer release.

Action Figures – Issue Ten: Unintended Consequences: First draft underway, tentatively set for a winter/spring 2021 release.

The Action Figures Omnibus – Volume One: This collection of books one through three — Secret Origins, Black Magic Women, and Pasts Imperfect — with new cover art by Tricia Lupien, is set for a mid-2020 release. This is with my editor now, so this is back in the pipeline!

The Adventures of Strongarm & Lightfoot – Elfish Motives: Book five is in the plotting stages. Tentatively scheduled for a late 2020 release.
