APPEARANCES and EVENTS
- THIS WEEK! Saturday, July 8, 1 to 3 PM: Annie’s Book Stop in Worcester is hosting a panel on superheroes in fiction, and I’ll be there with Remy Flagg (the Suburban Zombie High and Children of Nostradamus series), Gabriel Ross (The Legion of Power), Jude McLaughlin (the Wonder City Stories series), and Amelia Ritner (the Fuzzy Business series). Go check out their stuff, then come visit us!
- Monday, July 31 through Friday, Friday, August 4: The Cape Cod Teen Writers Conference at the Barnstable United School, Marstons Mills, MA. I’ll be participating in the Author Panel Night from 6 to 8 PM. Registration is open.
- Saturday, September 16: The Connecticut Renaissance Faire at the Lebanon Fairgrounds, Lebanon, CT. The website has its event page up, so go check out some of the other authors who will be there this fall.
Speaking of CTRF, that show is going to be a little cuckoo for me. I typically don’t work the fall show, but then for a while it was looking like I might, then it was looking like I wouldn’t, now it’s looking like I am, doing some writing, fight directing, and performing. That means I’ll be at my table on my Local Authors Series day in costume, which I kind of hate. I like to be “Author Mike” when I’m appearing at any kind of event, and showing up in a costume, even if it’d be appropriate, feels cheesy.
