I lead off this week with a quick, last-minute event announcement. I’ll be at the Shrewsbury Public Library tomorrow starting at 4 PM for their summer reading kickoff event. I’ll be among two dozen local authors who’ll be there selling books and talking about writing, so come on by!
WRITING PROJECTS
The Adventures of Strongarm & Lightfoot – Blades of Glory: Yay! The second draft is done and off to my test readers! I’m now working on a short that will run as a bonus backup feature and I hope to get that done within the next couple of weeks.

APPEARANCES and EVENTS
- Saturday, July 8, 1 to 3 PM: Annie’s Book Stop in Worcester is hosting a panel on superheroes in fiction, and I’ll be there with Remy Flagg (the Suburban Zombie High and Children of Nostradamus series), Gabriel Ross (The Legion of Power), Jude McLaughlin (the Wonder City Stories series), and Amelia Ritner (the Fuzzy Business series). Go check out their stuff, then come visit us next weekend!
- Monday, July 31 through Friday, Friday, August 4: The Cape Cod Teen Writers Conference at the Barnstable United School, Marstons Mills, MA. I’ll be participating in the Author Panel Night from 6 to 8 PM. Registration is open.
- Saturday, September 16: The Connecticut Renaissance Faire at the Lebanon Fairgrounds, Lebanon, CT. The website has its event page up, so go check out some of the other authors who will be there this fall.

Registration for Arisia 2018 opened last week, and I’m waiting to hear whether I’ll be in the vendor room again.
