Action Figures – Issue Seven: The Black End War: Managed to get a little work in, despite a busy weekend of socializing with friends visiting from California.
Action Figures – Issue Eight: I used my one full writing day to pound out ten pages of draft one. I know, I’m jumping WAY ahead, considering book six isn’t even edited yet, but I had the opening scenes down in my head and needed to get them onto the screen so I could refocus my energy on book seven when I get a full three days of writing this weekend.

- Wednesday, July 27: The New England Authors Expo in Danvers, MA. Workshops, forums, and a daylong book fair for librarians, book shop owners, and starting in the afternoon, for members of the general public.
- Sunday, October 2: The Connecticut Renaissance Faire’s 2016 Meet the Author series, which runs from 1 to 3 PM.
- Saturday & Sunday, October 15 & 16: The fall New Bedford Bookfest. Times TBA.

Cant wait for next AF! Just curious, but when the editing process starts, how long will it take until book is published? Also, any idea when editing of AF 6 will start? Thanks.

It varies, but I’m trying to keep things organized and expedited as much as possible. My editor currently has Strongarm & Lightfoot book two and has an August 31 deadline, which gives me ample time to do the formatting and pre-release prep work for a mid-to-late September release date. As soon as she’s done with S&L and ready to receive AF book six, I’ll send it to her. Unless something comes up on her end that delays the process, Power Play will be fully edited by the end of the year so it’ll be ready for a late winter/early spring release.
